This rulebook enters into force on August 5, 2023, and applies from January 1, 2024. On the day of the start of application of this rulebook (January 1, 2024), the provisions of Article 9 of the Rulebook on footwear labeling ("Official Gazette of RS", number 1/14), which refer to requests for additional written information accompanying footwear, cease to be valid, namely: about shoe size; the name and headquarters of the footwear manufacturer, as well as the importer of imported footwear; intended use of footwear (home footwear, footwear for dry weather, footwear for rain, sports footwear, etc.); footwear maintenance, as well as the way footwear is made (stitched footwear, glued footwear, vulcanized footwear, etc.).

The Rulebook on state marks for verification of measuring instruments entered into force on April 29, 2023, and will be applied from January 1, 2024. The Rulebook on the type, form and method of affixing state marks used for verification of measuring instruments ("Official Gazette of the RS", number 71/17).
The state marks from Article 2 of this rulebook are used by the Directorate for Measures and Precious Metals and authorized bodies for the performance of measures certification.

Тhe measuring instruments of the speed of vehicles that, on the date of entry into force of this rulebook, have a valid of type approval certificate, may be submitted for the first verification if they meet the provisions of this rulebook with regard to the request for verification.
Тhe measuring instruments of the speed of vehicles that are in use on the date of entry into force of this rulebook may be submitted for periodic and extraordinary verification as long as they meet the provisions of the regulation based on which they were put into use.

The Rulebook lays down requirements for measuring systems for compressed gaseous fuels for vehicles, marking of measurement systems, technical documentation, method of determining the fulfillment of requirements, methods of measurement, method of type  approval  of measurement systems, as well as the manner and conditions of certification measuring systems.

This Regulation applies to measuringsystems designed to dispense compressed natural gas, compressed hydrogen gas, biogas, gas mixtures or other compressed gaseous fuels into road vehicles, rail vehicles, ships, bottles and aircraft.

On the day this Rulebook comes into force, the Rulebook on Measuring Systems for Compressed Gaseous Fuels for Vehicles ("RS Official Gazette", No. 9/14) shall cease to apply.

This area is regulated by the Rulebook on Personal Protective Equipment ("Official Gazette of RS" No 23/2020), which is harmonized with all the principles and relevant requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council. In the course of drafting of this Rulebook, besides the stated EU Regulation, solutions from the reference EU regulations in the field of technical legislation were taken into consideration, especially from Decision No 768/2008 of the European Parliament and the Council on a common framework for the marketing of products.

]]> Fri, 13 Mar 2020 12:25:00 +0100 Legislative News http://tehnis.privreda.gov.rs/en/news/Legislative_news/794/published-rulebook-on-personal-protective-equipment.html Law on confirmation of the Convention on the Control and Marking of Articles of Precious Metals with annexes I and II http://tehnis.privreda.gov.rs/en/news/Legislative_news/809/law-on-confirmation-of-the-convention-on-the-control-and-marking-of-articles-of-precious-metals-with-annexes-i-and-ii.html Law on confirmation of the Convention on the Control and Marking of Articles of Precious Metals with annexes I and II was published in “Official Gazette of RS – International treaties”, No. 4/20 from March 5, 2020 and will enter into force on March 13, 2020. ]]> The enactment of this law created the preconditions for the full membership of the Republic of Serbia in the Convention on the Control and Marking of Articles of Precious Metals (hereinafter: the Convention).

The Convention is a multilateral international treaty concluded to date by 20 states and in which RS as an applicant state currently has observer status.

The full membership of the Republic of Serbia in the Convention will contribute to the reduction of the cost of exporting precious metal articles, as there will be no obligation for additional testing and/or hallmarking abroad for items marked with the CCM (Common Control Mark) stamp in the Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals. This increases the competitiveness of domestic producers of precious metal articles on the foreign market, which is of particular importance, given that this activity is predominantly performed by micro and small enterprises in the Republic of Serbia.

The gaining of full membership of RS in the Convention will enable precious metal articles that are marked with the Convention mark and which have the prescribed degree of fineness, can be placed on the market of the Republic of Serbia without further testing or marking.
