Rulebook on equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres is published on 4th January 2013. in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", No. 1/13 and enter into force on 12. January 2013, and it shall start to apply beginning with 1st July 2015th

              This regulation specifies: essential requirements for the protection of health and safety relating to the design and fabrication of equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, as well as other requirements and conditions that must be met for their release and delivery to the market and / or use; groups and categories of equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres; conformity assessment procedures; contents of the declaration of conformity, the content of technical documentation; conformity mark and the sign of explosion protection, safeguard clause, and requirements to be met by conformity assessment body to be  designated for conformity assessment.

              This regulation applies to the following products:

              1) equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres;

             2) safety devices, controlling devices and regulating devices intended for use outside potentially explosive atmospheres but required or contribute to the safe operation of equipment and protective systems in relation to the risks of explosion
