This field is governed by the Machinery Safety Rulebook, which is under the authority of the Ministry of Economy - Sector for Quality Infrastructure

Low-voltage electrical equipment (LVD)

Adoption of technical regulations in the field of electrical equipment intended for use within certain voltage limits is under the authority of the Ministry of Economy - Sector for Quality Infrastructure.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)

The transposition and implementation of the EC Directive 2004/108 is the responsibility of the Ministry of Economy - Sector for Quality Infrastructure.

Lifts

This field is governed by the Rulebook on Safety of Lifts (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No 15/17). The Rulebook is harmonised with all the principles and essential requirements of Directive 95/16/EC on lifts

Personal Protective Equipment

Transposition and implementation of Directive 89/686/EEC and the adoption of technical regulations in the field of personal protective equipment is within the competence of the Ministry of Economy - Sector for Quality Infrastructure

Textile

Ministry of Economy transposed the European Old approach directives for labeling textile products 2013.

Footwear

This area is currently regulated by the Rulebook on labeling of footwear (“Official Gazette of RS”, No. 1/14), that came into force on 14 January 2014 and shall apply from 1 July 2015.

Crystal Glass

Transposition and implementation of the Directive 69/493/EEC, is in the competence of the Ministry of Economy - Sector for quality infrastructure and products safety on the market.

Measuring Instruments

Measuring instrument is a device used for making measurements, alone or in conjunction with one or more supplementary devices.

Non-automatic weighing instruments (NAWI)

Weighing instrument means a measuring instrument serving to determine the mass of a body by using the action of gravity on that body. A weighing instrument may also serve to determine other mass-related magnitudes,quantities, parameters or characteristics.

Pre-packaging

A product is prepacked when it is placed in a package of whatever nature without the purchaser being present and the quantity of product contained in the package has a predetermined value and cannot be altered without the package either being opened or undergoing a perceptible modification.

Aerosol dispensers

Adoption of a technical regulation with the aim of aligning the national legislation with COUNCIL DIRECTIVE of 20 May 1975 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to aerosol dispensers (75/324/EEC) is within jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy.

This area is regulated by the Rulebook on Requirements for Particle Boards ("Official Gazette of RS" No. 101/16).

ROLLER BEARINGS

This area has been regulated by the Rulebook on Technical and Other requirements for the roller bearings (Official Gazette of RS, No. 98/16).

CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUNDS

The Rulebook on the safety of children's playgrounds came into force on August 25th, and it "introduces" European standards for equipment that are placed on playgrounds and which contain safety requirements for materials, design and construction, bringing directly the safety of children to a higher - acceptable level.
