Workshop on safety of toys

Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the IPA 2013 twinning project organized a workshop " Toy Safety Directive -inspections in practice"

Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the twinning project "Strengthening the capacity of the national system for quality infrastructure and conformity assessment bodies in the Republic of Serbia", which is led by a consortium of Czech (UNMZ, CMI, CAI) organized a workshop "Toy Safety Directive - inspections in practice ", that was held on 20^th and 21^st September 2016, with the participation of Mr. Pol Walker, an expert on the project.

The aim of the workshop was to strengthen the capacity of the market surveillance authorities, in order to protect consumers, and the youngest users of these products, as well as the experiences of EU member states in the implementation of the Directive on Toy Safety - 2009/48/EC.
