Held Workshop "Institutional establishment of inter-ministerial cooperation in non-harmonized area"
The Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Twinning Project "Strengthening the capacities of the national system for quality infrastructure and bodies for assessing product conformity in the Republic of Serbia" organized a workshop on establishing inter-ministerial cooperation in the non-harmonized area.
On Thursday, September 21st, 2017, in the premises of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Belgrade, was held a workshop "Institutional Establishment of Inter-Ministerial Cooperation in the Non-Harmonized Area" within the Twinning Project "Strengthening the quality and conformity assessment body for the assessment of compliance in R. Serbia ".
The workshop was opened by the Head of Non-harmonized Technical Regulations, Notification and Registers, Miodrag Dugandžija, who greeted all participants and briefly presented the importance of this seminar. Afterwards, Karel Žaček, permanent advisor to the Twinning Project "Strengthening the capacities of the national system for quality infrastructure and bodies for assessing product conformity in R." Serbia " addressed the attendees. During his lecture, Viktor Vodička, presented the Product Contact Point (PCP Regulation EU 764/2008) in the Czech Republic, i.e. rules of procedure and involvement of relevant interested parties, as well as inter-ministerial coordination. Krister Arvius spoke about the procedures for notifying and functioning of the Products Contact Point (PCP) between the competent institutions and presenting the experience of the Kingdom of Sweden in this field. Miodrag Dugandžija held the final presentation about the establishment and functioning of the product contact point- PCP in accordance to the EU Regulation 764/2008.
