PRODUCT INFO - Establishment of a Unique Digital Service regarding Technical Regulations (ERP 2020-2022)

In session held on January 30th, 2020, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Economic Reform Program (ERP) for the period from 2020 to 2022.

In session held on January 30^th, 2020, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Economic Reform Program (ERP) for the period from 2020 to 2022. It is a strategic document that defines priority structural reforms with the aim of removing barrier to economic growth and development, as well as increasing the competitiveness of the national economy. 

The Ministry of Economy, in the field of quality and product safety, is implementing Structural Reform 17. "Product Info - Establishment of a Unique Digital Service for Technical Regulation". The aim of the reform is to network the databases of relevant institutions and set up digital services regarding: technical requirements for all industrial product groups and measuring instruments, standards, conformity assessment activities, accreditation and activities in the field of metrology, so that the data is accurate, up-to-date and available to interested parties (business entities, inspection and other authorities, institutes, etc.).

The partners to the Ministry of Economy in the implementation of the reform are: Institute for Standardization of Serbia, Directorate for Measures and Precious Metals and Accreditation Body of Serbia.
