Published Rulebook on measuring instruments
Rulebook on measuring instruments was published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", No. 63/13 on July 19, 2013, and it comes into force on July 27, 2013.
This Rulebook prescribes the requirements for water meters, gas meters and volume conversion devices, active electricity meters, heat meters, measuring systems for continuous and dynamic measurement of quantities of liquids other than water, automatic scales, taximeters, materialized measures, measuring instrument of dimensions and exhaust gas analyzers, which must be met when placing these instruments on the market and /or use.
It also prescribes conformity assessment procedures, labeling, conformity certificates and other documentation accompanying these measuring instruments, as well as conditions which must be fulfilled by designated body which perform conformity assessment.
34 metrological regulations shall be repealed on the effective date of this Rulebook.
Note: Certificates of type approval of measuring instruments issued before the entry into force of this Regulation, based on the Article 18 of the Rulebook, shall be valid until 1st January 2017 year.
A measuring instrument that is designed, constructed and whose compliance is assessed in accordance with requirements of the Article 18 of this Rulebook, may be placed on the market and/or use before January 1, 2017 year.
