Regulation on Refractometers Used in Trade of Products and Services
Regulation on refractometers used in trade of products and services, which will come into force on August 1, 2015, and will be applicable as of September 1, 2015, is published In the „Official Gazette of RS”, No. 65/15 of July 24, 2015.
This regulation prescribes the requirements for manual, Abbe and automatic refractometers used in trade of products and services (hereinafter: refractometers), marking of refractometers, method of determining compliance with requirements for refractometers, methods of measurements, and the manner and conditions of verification of refractometers.
This regulation applies to refractometers that measure and display the refractive index and the sugar content by mass in liquid solution (aqueous sugar or must), if refractometers are provided with the appropriate scales.
