New Rulebooks in the field of metrology
In early August, Minister of Economy and Regional Development issued the Rulebook on the type, form and manner of placing government stamps used for verification of measuring instruments ("Off. Gazette of RS", No. 57/11), which comes into force on 9th August 2011 and Rulebook on the content of the records, as well as keeping records kept by the authorized body ("Off. Gazette of RS", No. 58/11), which comes into force on 13th August 2011.
In Appendix 1, which is attached to Rulebook on the type, form and manner of placing government stamps used used for verification of measuring instruments, forms of government stamps that will be used by the Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals (DMDM) and forms of government stamps to be used by authorized bodies, are given. This regulation was introduced two new state stamps:
-the stamp in the form of labels that are used to verify the fulfillment of metrological requirements in the first verification of measuring instruments (when, due to the sensitivity of construction, the basic stamp cannot be used),
And stamp in the form of additional label that is used to verify compliance with metrological requirements laid down in the first, the ordinary and extraordinary verification of instruments for which there is information about entering the setting mode of metrological parameters. Rulebook prescribed, also, special forms on which DMDM and designated bodies issue certificates of type approval, and special forms on which the authorized bodies and DMDM issue certificates on verification of instruments.
Rulebook on the content of the records, as well as keeping records kept by the authorized body prescribes which information must include a record kept by the authorized body, as well as the form in which it is kept. This regulation also stipulates the time for entering data to the records, and that data relating to the name of the person who made performed verification, types and unique serial numbers of issued stamps can not be changed after entering into the records.
